OH in Exeter University Chapel Choir Tour of Germany

Joe Reed (BF 11) is touring Germany with the University of Exeter Chapel Choir. You can support the tour if you wish or, if you live in Germany, you are warmly invited to attend its performances.

Joe Reed (BF 11), who is currently in his final year at Exeter University, has been in touch about his work with the University of Exeter Chapel Choir.

In recent years, the Choir has boasted two OHs within its ranks as paid choral scholars. It sings weekly at services on the university campus as well as many concerts across Devon and Europe on summer tours.

This June, the Choir is excited to share its love of sacred music with an international audience in a tour of Germany. Concerts and services are planned in churches in and around Stuttgart, Ravensburg, and Salem; any Old Haileyburians living in Germany are warmly welcome to attend any of the concerts and spread the word about the tour.

OHs who would like to do so can also help support the tour by helping it raise funds via its crowdfunding campaign. As Joe writes, "As you can imagine, this is quite a costly venture. We receive no funding from the university for this and as such are required to fundraise ourselves for our costs as well as publicity out in Germany."

If any OH would like to support the tour, you can do so by following this link

If you have any queries about the tour, or about the Choir in general, you can email Joe directly or the director of chapel music at the university, Michael Graham.
