James Dahl (L 93) - Wellington's 15th Master
We are delighted to learn that James Dahl (L 93) has been appointed as Master of Wellington College and will formally take up his post on 1st September this year.

A highly committed educationalist, James is currently Second Master Elect as well as Deputy Head Pastoral at Wellington, having served previously as Director of Admissions & Marketing at the College.

James was educated at the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle before joining Haileybury in the sixth form. He then moved up to Cambridge to read Classics before joining Brighton College where he became Head of Classics and Head of Sixth Form.

Following his time at Brighton, he became a Housemaster at Repton in 2006, before joining Wellington in September 2013. As befits a successful and inspirational Master, James is man of many talents. As well as being a Grade 8 flautist, pianist and percussionist, he also represented Cambridge at second team level in both cricket and rugby.

We would like to wish James every success in his new role - a success which is richly deserved.
